Multiple Dimensions: Exploring Printmaking as an expanded practice in contemporary visual culture 2017
Cork Printmakers organized their First Edition Print International Symposium with 26 speakers, 8 exhibitions in 7 venues across the city showcasing the work of more than 100 artists.
The Theme of Symposium was Multiple Dimensions: Exploring Printmaking as an expanded practice in contemporary visual culture with the main focus on the beauty of printmaking as a medium. Over the two days artists, from different countries talked and shared their experiences working with the extended diversity of print as a medium.
This event highlighted the printmaking practice in Ireland and overall the world.
Print Symposium was held in the Millennium Hall/City Hall, Cork on 23-24 June 2017.
